since birth we have tried all the formula’s out there he hrew everything up all he can have is parents choice formula from wal-mart..then he wouldnt eat any ceral he threw it all up so we skipped to beginers baby food…now that he is on the foods he doesnt want his formula hardly at all…i dont know what to do, i dont know if i can switch him to homo milk early so he is still getting his nutriests cause he wont take the bottle at all most times just the food…i cant even give himsoy fomrula he hrows that up to…what can i do?

Whole milk won’t give him the nutrients he needs, and it’s not good for his tummy yet. He NEEDS formula (or, breastmilk) to get the nutrients. Talk to your pediatrician about it.

Back off on the baby food or cereal and only give him formula. He should get the majority of his nutrition from formula until 12 months. After that, a mix of food and whole milk will be fine. I’d really back off on solids until he’s closer to 6 months old, especially if they’re affecting his formula intake. Solids don’t start to replace formula until closer to 10 months old – prior to that it’s just in addition to the normal amount of formula.

Ask his doctor for recommendations on a formula he might better tolerate. It could be a dairy sensitivity – have you tried formulas like Alimentum? They’re $$$, but he might do better with it.

you can not give him whole milk, you will mess up his stomache that way. No child is ready at 5 months. Technically theyare not even suppose to have anything but formula or breastmilk up til 6 months

You need to talk to your doctor immediately. That’s what I would suggest. It is pretty normal for a baby to drink formula less when you introduce baby food, but about all the throwing up, the baby can have acid reflux or be lactose intolerant or a various number of things….you should chat with the doctor asap.
hope this helps
take care
