|
IMDB rating: 3.60 Plot: A fully automated commercial jetliner is prepared to make its maiden voyage. Without an on-flight pilot, the craft relies on satellite linking for its course. But when the plane suddenly deviates from its determined route and establishes a circular pattern over Seattle, it becomes evident that the craft has been hijacked by a disgruntled former airline employee who has hacked into the flight’s computer system from his apartment, somewhere in the United States. Now, a former discredited Navy pilot and an oddball technician must race against the clock to find where the angry employee is, and regain control of the plane before it crashes into the city. |

Which airline would allow guinea pigs in the cabin with me?
Hi, I’m moving from Sac, CA to Fay, NC in three weeks and have to get there by plane. I have two little guinea pigs that I love to death and I have to take them with me. One problem- I have called Northwest, United, Delta, US airways, Southwest, Continental, and American airlines just to get a "No, guinea pigs are not allowed in the cabin." Delta used to allow them, but their policy has recently changed. I refuse to put them in the cargo hold due to death due to either the pressure or stress. So my question is… which airline allows them in the cabin with me? I am willing to pay a fee, whatever it takes, to have my babies fly to NC with me. I will put them in a small kennel the whole flight, just let me know which airline WILL allow them. I’m getting desperate. Thanks a bunch.
Erika, the only way that I know that you can resolve this is to charter an executive aircraft to fly you and your guinea pigs from Sacramento to Fayetteville. There are no airlines that fly this route that will allow guinea pigs in the cabin, and since you are willing to pay a fee, whatever it takes,
charter is your only answer. Sorry.
If you decide that you cannot pay to charter, consider having them sent air freight, as the air in the cargo holds is the same as that in the passenger cabin. Check with your vet to see how you can ease their stress.
Regards,
Dan

I work for a Canadian airline and we don’t allow guinea pigs either, I’m afraid you are out of luck. You can check with a transportation company. Maybe you can ship them by air cargo

You could try Continental(if they fly that route) their site does not say which animals they accept..you will need to call them. If you cannot find an airline that allows them, you can try a pet transport service. see sites below.
